English poet, daughter of the botanist Francis Darwin and granddaughter of the British naturalist Charles Darwin. She was married to classical scholar Francis Cornford, with whom she had five children, including the poet, John Cornford, who was killed during the Spanish Civil War.
She published several books of verse, including Poems (1910), Spring Morning (1915), Autumn Midnight (1923), and Different Days (1928).
